Local settings
Scroll preferences are stored on your Mac.
App Store purchases
Reverse Scroll is a paid app bought once on the App Store. Apple processes the payment. Microfactory does not receive your card number or Apple account password.
Diagnostics and privacy requests
A diagnostic report is created locally when you save or copy it. Check its contents before sending email or posting a public GitHub issue. Contact support to request access, correction or deletion of information you sent.
Information collected
Reverse Scroll does not require account creation, sign-in, or cloud sync, and it does not collect personal information through normal app use.
How input data is handled
Scroll direction and compensation are processed locally on your Mac. The app does not send or store your scroll input on an external server.
Why permissions are requested
The app may request macOS Accessibility and Input Monitoring permissions so it can adjust scroll behavior. These permissions are used only for on-device input handling and are not used for advertising, analytics, or tracking.
Third-party tracking and analytics
The current release does not include analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking libraries.
Information shared when you contact support
If you contact support by email or GitHub Issues, only the information you choose to send is shared. This may include your email address, macOS version, input device details, screenshots, and reproduction steps.
Policy updates
If these privacy practices change, this page will be updated and the App Store metadata will be revised when needed.
